The Network Intelligence Alliance Announces IOPN Awards 2016 Winners at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona
Paris, France (PRWEB) February 24, 2016 -- The Network Intelligence Alliance (NI Alliance), an industry organization promoting collaboration among vendors of products or solutions based on network intelligence, announced the winners of the Intelligent Open Networking (IOPN) Awards 2016. These industry awards recognize and reward service providers and technology vendors that successfully combine intelligence with open networking in their Proof of Concepts, services and solutions.
Winners of the IOPN Awards 2016 were selected by a jury of independent analysts composed of Gabriel Brown, Senior Analyst, Heavy Reading; Joe Hoffman, Vice President, Strategic Technology, ABI Research and Shira Levine, Research Director, IHS.
The IOPN Awards 2016 winners are:
Category 1: Best Innovation combining intelligence with open networking:
• Parallel Wireless for HetNet Gateway (HNG)
Category 2: Best Proof of Concept combining intelligence with open networking:
• AT&T for Central Office Re-architected as a Datacenter (CORD)
Category 3: Best Service or Solution combining intelligence with open networking:
• VeloCloud for VeloCloud Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN)
The winners were announced yesterday in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress, at the IOPN Awards Evening at the Bar-Restaurant GLUB.
