The New Cincoze DA-1000 from Logic Supply Enables Economical, Ultra Compact Rugged Computing
South Burlington, Vermont (PRWEB) April 14, 2016 -- Industrial and Embedded computer specialists Logic Supply (http://www.logicsupply.com) have unveiled the new DA-1000 rugged fanless computer, from Taiwanese manufacturer Cincoze. Featuring a small form factor aluminum and steel chassis, a wide variety of industrially focused I/O options, and able to operate in extreme temperatures, the DA-1000 is one of the lowest priced, truly rugged computers available.

Enclosed in a fully fanless and ventless chassis, and consuming less than 15W, the energy efficient DA-1000 is powered by a latest generation Intel Braswell dual-core processor and is available with up to 8GB of wide-temp DDR3L memory. Storage options include a range of standard or wide-temp HDDs or SSDs up to 1TB. The system is rated to reliably operate in temperatures from -25°C to 70°C and features a wide input power voltage of 9~48V DC. Two full-size Mini-PCIe slots (one of which also offers mSATA support) allow for additional storage or expansion.
The DA-1000's front I/O includes 3 USB 2.0, 1 USB 3.0, 2 GbE LAN, mic-in, line-out and a 2-pin remote power on/off connector. Rear I/O features dual COM ports, DVI-I and 3-pin terminal block connector, as well as dual antenna holes for optional wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. The system can be pre-loaded with either Windows or Ubuntu Linux.
The release of the DA-1000 follows the recent unveiling of Logic Supply's CL100 Mini PC last month at the 2016 Digital Signage Expo. The CL100, based on Intel's popular NUC platform, is ideally suited for media playback applications or as a compact workstation in challenging industrial environments.
