The New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Reports Successful Sales
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 10, 2015 -- U.S. Antique Shows recently reported that the New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show had phenomenal dealer sales for the entire duration of the show. The world recognized show producer hosted the event at the Metropolitan Pavilion on July 24-27.
“This show’s consistent success is a direct result of our exceptional dealers and the unique merchandise they bring to show annually. Our events would not be revered at such a high caliber without these individuals,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “Also, the location of the Metropolitan Pavilion, right off 6th Avenue, helps attract a diverse clientele.”
The New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show gathered more than 120 of the most elite dealers for four days only. Highly sought after collections representing all eras of jewelry history including brands, such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., David Webb, Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, Patek Philippe, were on display. Unique and one-of-a-kind jewelry featuring colored diamonds, a variety of gemstones, pearls, and much more also filled the show floor.
“I was very pleased with the results of the New York show. I always look at several factors before I call a show a success……did I meet my sales goal, did my current customers come back to see me, did I acquire new customers? The answer was yes, it was a very successful show. Right now, New York is my fastest growing market,” says dealer Lenore Dailey.
Troy Perkins of Goldstein Diamonds also labelled the show as a success for his company. “Dealers were buying if the price was right, so we had to make the price right! The consumer is more educated and less stores are buying for stock, so we have to constantly be creative to continue doing business.”
U.S. Antique Shows now produces eight shows nationally. The next New York show scheduled is LUEUR, a brand new and exclusively chic antique jewelry and watch show, to be held at the Javits Convention Center, Oct. 23-25, 2015. The show will feature the most elite purveyors of antique jewelry and watches who will bring highly prized and rare pieces to New York City for three days only.
