The Noerr Programs Collects $145,231 for Save the Children to Support Rural U.S. Children in Poverty
Arvada, CO (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- The Noerr Programs, operators of the Santa Photo Experience at over 260 venues nationwide, demonstrated Santa’s spirit of generosity during the 2013 holiday season through their fourth annual holiday fundraising drive to support Save the Children.
“We want to portray the heart and generosity of Santa by encouraging our guests at regional shopping centers throughout the country to support Save the Children,” said Judy Noerr, CEO and founder of The Noerr Programs, an experiential digital event imaging company that annually deploys more than 300 naturally bearded gentlemen to embody the persona of Santa during the holiday season. “We are deeply moved by the thousands of families that contribute to this cause, despite a challenging economy. As a result, The Noerr Programs is deeply honored to have collected nearly $655,000 for Save the Children since our heartwarming partnership began in 2009.”
Save the Children works in some of the most remote, struggling communities in rural America, offering underserved children early education, literacy, physical activity and nutrition programs. The agency also focuses on emergency preparedness and response to protect children across the country.
“All children have hopes and dreams, but the one in four children who live in poverty in this country face great challenges when it comes to reaching their full potential. It doesn’t have to be this way,” said Kathy Spangler, Vice President for Save the Children’s U.S. Programs. “This generous support from The Noerr Programs is helping Save the Children give more children the chance to succeed in school and life through early education programs, and to protect all children from disasters than can turn their lives upside down.”
“Santa continues to provide a sense of hope and goodwill that our guests gravitate to,” added Judy Noerr. “Staying true to the heart, soul and tradition of Santa by reinforcing his spirit of generosity through Save the Children gives us another way to create holiday magic for families in every corner of the country.”
