The Options Industry Council Announces 'Road to Wall Street' Returns to the Stuart School of Business at IIT
Chicago, Ill (PRWEB) November 06, 2013 -- The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today that the next event in its university outreach program, The Road to Wall Street: Analyze Your Options, will be at the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago for college students and faculty from IIT as well as the Chicagoland area on Friday, November 15.
OIC’s Road to Wall Street program, which began in 2010, partners with a university to educate students about options and careers within the options industry. The informative half-day events are designed for students and faculty featuring successful exchange leaders, options traders, technology experts and other industry professionals. Topics covered include experiences from the field, how the listed options markets work, where the industry is headed, and how to get started in the options business.
Registration for the IIT event opens at 8:15 a.m. and the program starts at 9:00 a.m. with opening remarks followed by "Options Overview" presented by Alan Grigoletto, Vice President of Education at OIC. Then the Keynote guest speaker Veda Kaufman Levin, Senior Managing Director at Mesirow Financial, will present. The second half of the program includes the panel discussions, “How Technology Drives the Industry” led by OptionsCity CEO Hazem Dawani and “Getting Started in the Options Business” led by Product Development Manager for TheStreet's OptionsProfits, Jill Malandrino.
