The OSHA Training Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District Announces the Opening of its New OSHA Center in Guam
Dublin, CA (PRWEB) August 27, 2015 -- The OSHA Training Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District has announced the opening of its new OSHA Center in Guam, offering OSHA standards-based safety and health classes for the construction industry. Working adults and those seeking to improve their careers will now be able to enroll in OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 classes being offered monthly from August through December, 2015, in a community-based adult learning environment.
“We are very excited about the opening of our new OSHA Training Center location in Guam,” said Cari Elofson, Assistant Director of the OSHA Training Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. “Our primary goal is to make OSHA standards-based training available to as many people as we can reach throughout the western region.”
OSHA 510: OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry and OSHA 500: Trainer Course for the Construction Industry are recommended for construction workers, foremen and managers; superintendents and engineers; safety professionals; and anyone responsible for construction workplace safety. OSHA 510 covers the scope and application of OSHA Standards, safety and health principles specific to construction, while OSHA 500 is designed for individuals interested in teaching 10- and 30-hour construction safety and health outreach training classes.
Upcoming 2015 Guam OSHA classes are being offered on the following dates:
OSHA 510: OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry - September 7-10, October 5-8, November 2-5 and December 1-4, 2015.
OSHA 500: Trainer Course for the Construction Industry - August 24-27, September 21-24, October 19-22, November 16-19 and December 14-17, 2015.
