(PRWEB) February 19, 2015 -- February 19, 2015, Alexandria, VA – The Performance Institute (PI) is proud to announce Stewart Liff as PI Fellow focused on human resources performance management and employee engagement. An experienced executive and author of numerous books on human resources and performance management, Liff will provide expertise on government HR issues, research, training, and performance consulting.
“I first met Stew many years ago when visiting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Los Angeles Regional Office to get a first-hand look at the office’s extraordinary transformation from a significantly underperforming regional office to a top-performing one. The same techniques he used to guide the regional-office transformation are captured in his numerous books and are the foundation of the expertise he brings to PI,” says PI’s Executive Director, Diane Denholm. “We are very excited to welcome Stew to the PI team and look forward to sharing his hands-on knowledge, insights and leadership in the field of human resources performance management with our students and clients.”
With seven books published on the subjects of performance management, human resources, and employee engagement, Liff is one of the most widely recognized experts in the field. His recent book, A Team of Leaders, was named one of the 30 best business books of 2014 by Soundview Executive Book Summaries. Liff’s expertise includes performance management, employee relations, labor relations, EEO, staffing, training, rewards and recognition, metrics, systems design, strategic planning, and team development.
