The Prejean Agency Joins the Gift of Life Organization in Charity Drive to Provide Cancer Screenings in Southeast Texas
Vidor, TX (PRWEB) June 30, 2016 -- The Prejean Agency, a family owned insurance provider with offices that serve Orange County and communities in nearby areas, is teaming up with the Gift of Life Organization in a charity initiative that promises to provide complimentary cancer checkups for medically underserved Texans.
Originally established in Beaumont more than twenty years ago, Gift of Life has grown to provide cancer screenings of all kinds to both men and women who are underinsured or unable to afford premium medical care. This charity drive will provide complimentary primary care tests, screenings, and physician consultations to qualified southeastern Texas residents.
“Cancer is a terrible disease – the efforts of the Gift of Life charity have helped prevent more than 250 cancer cases in our community, and we’re working to ensure these efforts can continue,” says Sarah Prejean, owner and director of the Prejean Agency.
