The Rhoads Garden, 75 Years and Still Growing
North Wales, Pa (PRWEB) September 07, 2014 -- The Rhoads Garden is currently in its 75th year of business, having begun by selling tomatoes on the roadside in 1939. More than 7 decades later, they have expanded to house a nursery, garden center, indoor green house, gift shop and flower shop. A yearlong celebration is well underway with their highlight event being September 27th and 28th, where they will host a large community Open House and Fall Festival.
“Having been a part of this growing company for the last 35 years, I am proud to have seen so many loyal customers and community members continue to count on us as their expert source for gardening, floristry and unique gift items,” said Mike Kratz, General Manager at The Rhoads Garden. The core of the company is rooted in the knowledge that without those loyal and new customers, the Rhoads Garden family and staff couldn’t do what they are passionate about every day.
“Join us throughout the year for many ‘75 year’ themed specials and events, come by and share some of your favorite memories with us, then bring out the whole family to enjoy music, entertainment, pumpkin games, scarecrow contests, hayrides and more as we celebrate our success and look towards the future on September 27th and 28th,” said Dianne Rhoads-Esbensen, 3rd generation family member and Manager at The Rhoads Garden.
