The Rooftop at The Embassy Row Hotel Opens May 5th With Refreshed Look and New Programming

The Rooftop will feature an upgraded bar along with additional seating and high-top tables, accommodating more diners and allowing visitors added space to sit and enjoy lunch or cocktails comfortably. From sunrise yoga, splash cycle and dive-in movies in the pool, to a summer concert series, weekly pool parties and exclusive packages, The Rooftop promises to be a hot spot for guests and locals to cool down this summer. Special Events
To kick off opening festivities on May 5, The Rooftop will host a Cinco de Mayo-themed party sponsored by Corona Extra®, Modelo Especial™ and El Jimador Tequila featuring drink specials and live entertainment. Other holiday parties taking place throughout the summer include a Memorial Day Weekend pool party on Saturday, May 27 with CÎROC™ Summer Colada drink specials and a DJ, a Moet Ice and Imperial Event on June 3, a Drag Queen Sponsored Pool Party during Pride Weekend on June 11 and a 4th of July Silent Disco bash sponsored by Budweiser® and CÎROC™. There will also be a Red Bull Mixology Bar in June for up to 100 guests in partnership with Red Bull and London-based mixology company Sweet and Chili featuring special drink concoctions from their traveling, portable bar.
Programming
In addition to special events, The Rooftop will also host a series of fun weekly summer programming for both guests and locals to enjoy. Highlights include underwater spinning class Splash Cycle, sunrise rooftop yoga on the weekends with local D.C. studio Epic Yoga, Silent Disco dance parties on Friday nights with longstanding partner the Silent Dance Society where music is played only through wireless headphones, Sunday Elevate pool parties with rotating DJs, a summer concert series beginning in June, and dive-in movies projecting in the pool in August and September. Support a Cause Wednesdays are weekly community fundraising events hosted by rotating non-profit organizations with $1 from all food and drink sales donated to the organization such as Leukemia & Lymphoma, Dupont Underground and the United Women in Business Foundation. On Friday afternoons beginning at 3:00 PM, local residents can take advantage of Embassy Row’s Hooky Friday where day passes and specialty cocktails are half off.
