The Russ George Agency Joins Regional No-Kill Animal Rescue Shelter in Charity Drive to Safeguard Neglected Animals
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 21, 2017 -- The Russ George Agency, a regional insurance provision and financial planning firm serving communities in the greater Phoenix region, is embarking on a joint charity drive in conjunction with Yorkie Luv Rescue aimed at assisting animals in the area in need of new permanent homes.
Yorkie Luv Rescue is a nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to making sure all Yorkies and Yorkie mixes are cared for in a safe and healthy environment until they can find a new, loving family. Shelters in Maricopa County and the surrounding areas have extremely high kill rates compared to the rest of the nation, and YLR works to counteract this reality both by rescuing dogs from these shelters and accepting surrendered animals from families that can no longer care for them.
“Every dog deserves a safe, loving home with a family that cares for them, and our goal is to assist Yorkie Luv Rescue and other animal rescue charities in our area by raising awareness and community support,” says Russ George, founder and executive manager of the Russ George Agency.
The Russ George team is using the Internet to great effect during this charity event, and has galvanized support from families, associates, and friends throughout the Phoenix area chiefly from broadcasts over social media and email.
