The Saint Paul Conservatory of Music Announces December’s Events
Saint Paul, MN (PRWEB) December 01, 2015 -- The Saint Paul Conservatory of Music is ringing in the holiday season with a duo performance that is rich in Hispanic culture. Whether attending to support the musicians or seeking out a great vocalist and guitarist performance, the SPCM has a variety of musical performances to enjoy.
Starting off the holiday month is the SPCM Coffee Concert on Dec. 2 at the University Club. This event will feature Spanish works for voice and guitar. The featured vocalist is mezzo soprano Nerea Berraondo and Eva Beneke will be on guitar.
The program features six pieces, some with multiple movements.

The rest of December’s events go as follows:
Fall Student Recitals: 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at McNally Smith Auditorium (19 E Exchange St.). Students perform various works.
SPCM at the Minnesota Children’s Museum: 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Minnesota Children’s Museum (10 7th St. W, Saint Paul). Jay Hildebrand will provide an introduction to classical guitar at the. Featuring music from the past 500 years, this insightful, interactive event will be a fun experience for children of all ages!
Holiday Benefit Concert: 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13 at McNally Smith Auditorium (19 E Exchange St.). Gather and celebrate the music-making community in Saint Paul, Minn. Optional donations to benefit the Music4All Program will be accepted at this time.
To start off the new year on the right foot, SPCM will host Framing the Debate: Music inspired by the 2016 Presidential Campaign on Jan. 6. This will feature Chris Olson on guitar, Chris Bates on bass and Jay Epstein on drums at the University Club (St. Paul Athletic Club Hotel 340) at 340 Cedar Ave. in downtown St. Paul.
