The School of Internet Marketing Instructor Reviews Affiliate Summit East Convention
Jersey City, New Jersey (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- Attendance at the Affiliate Summit East was made up of companies getting into affiliate marketing and program managers looking to get new affiliates. Online bloggers and publishers were in attendance looking for partnership opportunities. Goodman also noticed that people were there trying to buy or sell web traffic and those who advocate for email marketing. While he knew about organic traffic and pay-per-click, Goodman also learned of other ways to increase traffic. His concern was that some of the methods were what he termed as "dark."
Goodman relayed a story about a conversation that he overheard and commented on that appeared to involve a person promoting dark methods of getting more traffic. Many of these methods promise an increase in visitors but it is better to have a few quality visitors who can convert into real customers than a large amount of traffic that just clicks on through.
"Affiliate Summit East was so much of a success for me… I think I might go to Affiliate Summit West." – Jonathan Goodman
Overall, Goodman spoke of the summit as a success and as a great opportunity to meet people and network to make new contacts. Anyone involved in or looking to educate themselves on affiliate marketing can benefit from this event.
