The Sharie Withers Agency Launches Community Charity Event to Benefit Three Year Old Texas Boy Diagnosed with Kidney Disease
Tyler, TX (PRWEB) July 20, 2016 -- The Sharie Withers Agency, a family managed insurance and financial planning provider with business and residential clients throughout eastern Texas, is announcing a charity event based in Tyler that will benefit Aikman Smith, a young boy facing a rare and dangerous kidney disease.
Aikman Smith was diagnosed with an invasive E. Coli bacterial infection in the middle of last year. Since this diagnosis, Aikman has developed Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, a rare disease that attacks the red blood cells and can lead to anemia and potentially life-threatening kidney, lung, or heart failure. Sharie Withers and her team have joined Aikman’s cause and are raising money to assist with his recovery.
“When a child is sick or needs help, it’s up to everyone in our community to step in and do whatever it takes to see that they are properly cared for, and that’s why we’re here for Aikman and his family,” says Sharie Withers, owner and manager of the Sharie Withers Agency.
