The Slocum Agency Launches Grassroots Charity Effort to Benefit Lady Pride Youth Softball Teams of Forney, Texas
Forney, TX (PRWEB) January 19, 2016 -- The Slocum Agency, a locally owned insurance firm serving businesses and families in Kaufman County and other nearby areas, is launching a charity drive intended to raise funds in support of the Lady Pride Youth Softball Teams based in Forney.
The Lady Pride Youth Softball program is committed to providing young people in Forney with more than just good clean fun. Organized sports teach young people how to work hard, trust one another, and commit themselves to a greater goal. During competitions, youth softball participants learn how to dig deep, excel under pressure, and respect their opponents on the field and in life.
“Youth softball is an integral part of the Forney way of life, and this charity drive will help ensure that the Lady Pride Youth Softball team is fully equipped for the coming season,” says Justin Slocum, founder and manager of the Slocum Agency.
