The South’s Highly Popular Startup Riot Now Accepting Startups and Sponsors for its 2015 Pitching Competition

ATLANTA (PRWEB) December 04, 2014 -- It’s back. After taking a year off, the South’s highly popular technology startup event, Startup Riot, is now accepting registrations, applications and sponsors for its seventh pitching competition. On March 5, the daylong event will feature 30 local entrepreneurs who are pre-selected to pitch their big ideas for a chance to win huge cash prizes, thousands of dollars in professional services and meetings with top venture capitalists.

In addition, the audience of more than 500 will hear from notable entrepreneurs, including a keynote from Dan Benjamin founder of 5by5.tv, and enjoy networking opportunities at the signature event after party at Terminal West.

Each presenting startup will receive three minutes to explain their concept and three minutes to answer questions from a panel of high-profile judges. At the end of the day, the audience will help the judges decide the top three startups. Prize packages total nearly $8,000 (and counting) and include meetings with more than a dozen successful entrepreneurs and seasoned venture capitalists.
