The Steel Wheels and the Red Wing Roots Music Festival Announce First Acts for 2016
Harrisonburg, Va. (PRWEB) January 29, 2016 -- Organizers of the fourth annual Red Wing Roots Music Festival are excited to announce an initial lineup of artists who will perform at the event, held from July 8-10 at Natural Chimneys Park in Mt. Solon, Va. Acts already booked include Shovels and Rope, Steep Canyon Rangers, Aoife O’Donovan, Chris Smither, The Dustbowl Revival, Amy Helm, Yarn, Mountain Heart, The Black Lillies and The Hollering Pines.
As always, local favorites The Steel Wheels will host the Red Wing Roots Music Festival and perform several times during the weekend. The full lineup will be announced in February.
Held in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, the family-friendly festival will feature 35 bands on four stages, with great food and the great outdoors accompanying three days of great music. Camping, kids activities, organized bike rides and much, much more will also be available.
