The Sylvan Learning Center Launches New Website
Lancaster, PA (PRWEB) February 05, 2014 -- The Sylvan Learning Center, with locations in Lancaster and Palmyra, has announced the launch of its new website, http://www.sylvanpa.com. The new website features straightforward navigation to available tutoring programs, free learning resources and blogs, on-site learning programs, and information about signing up online.
The site is designed for digital savvy parents, making it easy to quickly learn all about Sylvan’s unique personal learning approach through videos, testimonials, and interactive graphics. It also features a list of available tutoring programs, from math to reading to study skills and everything in between. Additionally, the list incorporates the grade levels offered for those programs, including post-high school programs for things like test prep for the PRAXIS or GMAT.
In addition to the services offered by Sylvan, the site also links to a number of free online resources including worksheets, strategies and games that students can play to earn tokens to use for shopping at The Sylvan Store. Other resources include a blog section that pulls from a number of different mom-minded blogs, which share tips and tricks for creating a lifestyle of learning.
Owner and Executive Center Director, Tom Boucek, said, “We’re excited for the opportunity to launch a new website for our Lancaster and Palmyra centers. The new website allows our digital savvy parents to more easily navigate all of the free resources we make available to aid in their child’s success. It also allows us to highlight new services like our satellite locations, which provide on-site learning, making our guided instruction-style tutoring more convenient to those that don’t live as close to one of our centers.”
Once a user has had the chance to navigate through the website, there is a section that allows them to sign up to schedule a skills assessment with Sylvan. The skills assessment pinpoints a child’s exact strengths and weaknesses, which The Sylvan Learning Center is able to use to create a personal learning plan individualized to that child.
