The Cord Taco is a small, leather circle that, when folded around a coiled headphone cord, snaps into place and keeps headphones tangle free. The Cordito is a long, leather rectangle that houses multiple USB or headphone cables and two USB wall plugs or whatever each user’s heart desires. Simply roll it up like a burrito, snap it shut and it’s ready for travel. Lastly, the one-size-fits-all Cordlupa looks like a mini belt for a laptop power cord. Wrap the cord around the charger and secure it in place with the Cordlupa. It’s as simple as that.
“My approach to design is pretty straightforward; identify a problem, do a whole bunch of research and then I’m usually always in shock that it hasn’t been solved yet in the right way,” says Macadaan. “My favorite part of this project is getting to dabble with leather and different materials. You know, stuff that’s super high quality and durable, but also looks really cool.”
We’ve all experienced the wrath of tangled cords stuffed into backpacks, purses and bags and we’ve also seen many different cable management solutions. But, unlike the popular Apple Cores or Grid-It organizer, these cord organizers are flexible for easy storage when not in use, and stylish enough to leave on a desk or in a car.
