The University of Scranton’s Master of Science in Human Resources Program Embodies the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) Standards
(PRWEB) June 07, 2016 -- The University of Scranton announced that the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has acknowledged that the university’s online Master of Science in Human Resources degree fully aligns with SHRM’s HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates.
The Society for Human Resource Management is the world’s largest human resource membership organization for human resource management, and only 352 programs in 264 educational institutions globally have been acknowledged by SHRM as being in alignment with its suggested guides and templates. The HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates were developed by SHRM to define the minimum HR content areas that should be studied by human resources students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Created in 2006 and revalidated in 2010 and 2013, the guidelines align with SHRM’s Academic Initiative to define human resource education standards taught in university business schools and help guide universities to develop degree programs that mirror these high standards.
