Oakland, California (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 -- Creator and founder of The Valley Girl Show, Jesse Draper, is expanding her influence with a new television series to air this August on KTVU-FOX 2 and KICU-TV36 in the San Francisco/Bay Area.
Draper started producing her popular technology talk show in her parents’ garage in 2008, and after six successful years hosting her Internet talk show, The Valley Girl Show is bringing it to the San Francisco Bay Area’s approximately 6.5 million households.
“There’s never been a place that gives startups and CEOs a voice and a platform,” said Jesse Draper, host and creator. “I’m thrilled to have The Valley Girl Show available to the more than 6 million viewers. This is just the beginning. ”
Over the years, The Valley Girl Show with Jesse Draper has featured an impressive array of guests, including Ted Turner, Mark Cuban, Sheryl Sandberg, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, Jessica Alba, Eric Schmidt, Steve Wozniak and Elon Musk. The premiere show will be equally impressive with Basketball Hall of Fame’s Rick Barry going one-on-one with Jesse in tech basketball and billionaire Todd Wagner of Broadcast.com fame discussing his latest endeavor to kick things off. Far from the standard business talk show format, Draper has generated acclaim with her unabashed enthusiasm, disarming nature and ability to bring top CEOs and entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley and beyond out of their usual PR pitch.
“The Valley Girl Show with Jesse Draper is a perfect show for our demographic audience. Technology is becoming so integral to their everyday lives, and this is incredible content for them,” said Romeo Solomon, General Sales Manager at KICU-TV36. “Jesse approaches business in a lighthearted and interesting way, and we know our viewers will be compelled to tune in to the show.”
As Draper has matured over the years, so has The Valley Girl Show. With a playful approach, knowledgeable background, and a large dose of whimsy, she succeeds in generating real, unscripted dialogue with the thought leaders of the technology and business industries. A spokesperson for startups, Draper has helped pioneer the way of new media content distribution and will translate that model to broadcast television. The Valley Girl Show brings entrepreneurs together to reflect their humble beginnings, discover how their companies originated and to launch their new products all in a fun and lively environment.
The new show will premiere on August 3 at 7:00 p.m. (KICU-TV36), August 10 at 11:30 p.m. (KTVU-FOX 2), August 16 at 10:30 p.m. (KICU-TV36), August 23 at 3:00 p.m. (KTVU-FOX 2), and August 30 at 7:00 p.m. (KICU-TV36).
