The Voice's Erin Willett talks about life after The Voice and her former coach Blake Shelton on AfterBuzz TV
Los Angeles, CA, (PRWEB) October 24, 2013 -- The Voice's season 2 contestant, Erin Willett made an appearance on AfterBuzz TV's The Voice aftershow Monday night. In her appearance, Willett talks about her music, what life is like after being on the hit series, and gives her thoughts on her coach, Blake Shelton.
Willett on Blake Shelton:
“[Blake] was awesome, he's so awesome,” Willett says, “He's just so cool and down to earth and he's always so open about us coming to him...it's just crazy that he's so open to meeting people a supporting so many people...he really takes everybody under his wing.”
Willett on how songs are picked for The Voice contestants:
“With the live rounds, it was kind of more like we would throw out ideas [for songs to sing]. If we didn't like a song we definitely could be like, 'Nah, I don't want to do this.' I had a lot of say in my 'Without You' in the semi-finals,” says Willett
Willett on life after The Voice:
“I'm still sitting here. I have my EP that I paid for myself and it's awesome and I'm doing a lot of things that I never thought I would do. There is life after The Voice. There is struggle after The Voice,” says Willett, “I feel that a lot of people have this misconception of how it is [after the show wraps], like you get on these shows and you're in. Girl, I'm a server. I've got bills to pay.”
