The Waterford School Celebrates Arts Week March 24-28
Sandy, Utah (PRWEB) March 22, 2014 -- The Waterford School, Utah's premier private college-preparatory school, will celebrate Arts Week March 24-28. The week-long celebration will include student performances in music, theater and dance, as well as student art exhibitions in photography, ceramics, drawing and painting.
Waterford's arts curriculum begins in preschool and provides an increasingly diverse matrix of opportunity as students advance through the program. In Middle and Upper School, students can explore a range of disciplines including theater, dance, orchestra, band, chorus, voice ensembles, jazz, chamber music, photography, computer graphics, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, and painting.

As a highlight to the week-long celebration, the Brigham Young University Chamber Orchestra, directed by Kory Katseanes, will perform a concert program on Thursday, March 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the Waterford Concert Hall, located at 9600 South and 1700 East in Sandy, Utah. The concert is open to the public and admission is free. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
