The Westinghouse Nucli Smart Lock Redefines Security for the Home and Business
Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) July 16, 2015 -- Westinghouse Security, the team behind the Westinghouse Nucli, the most advanced deadbolt lock in development, will be launching a Kickstarter campaign on July 21st to raise a total of $50,000. Nucli gives users control over who has access to their home or business no matter where they are.
The Nucli smart deadbolt uses Wi-Fi to connect with an app that’s available on both iOS and Android devices. The app allows users to receive images from Nucli’s outdoor camera, as well as real-time alerts on their phone, laptop or tablet. Nucli contains accelerometers that alert users when a door is left open for too long, and the smart deadbolt also detects when the door closes, locking it automatically. Nucli provides virtual keys, shared with up to 50 users, without the hassle of duplicating and keeping track of physical keys.
Nucli’s weatherproof design is great for homes or businesses. Fingerprint recognition provides both adults and children secure entry without a physical key. Nucli contains a multitude of high-tech features which include:
-Fingerprint, PIN pad and smartphone access
-Smartphone alerts keep users informed 24/7
-Remotely lock or unlock doors from anywhere
-Integrated Bluetooth, Z-Wave and Wi-Fi provide connectivity with other smart devices
-The exterior camera, together with inside and outside speakers and microphones, lets owners speak with and see visitors without opening the door, or even being home
-The integrated exterior camera gives 170 degree field Of view (FOV)
-Visitors can leave voice messages if users are unavailable
-Indoor and outdoor touchscreens allow for easy configuration and are fully customizable
-Super Capacitor technology and a 9-volt external power tap provide emergency backup access
-Rechargeable battery lasts up to 6-months and recharges in just 2 hours
-Digital doorbell plays any MP3 track
