The Wow Project - Media Update by One Million Acts of Innovation Director of Music
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) July 15, 2015 -- A professional recording artist aims to use music to help people feel happy and free. It sounds simple, but for John Tayles, this is what music has done for him and what he strives to use it to impact others. For that, Tayles has launched The Wow Project on crowdfunding site Indiegogo. Running now until July 22nd, the aim of the project is to fund the creation and release of new catchy, relatable music that enlightens, moves and inspires.
Tayles hopes to spread this music far and wide to reach young people, dreamers and anyone that wants to feel alive and happier. It is evident that this mission is a direct result of that same impact that music had on him growing up.
“I’ve seen the power of music with my own eyes, my own guitar and my own voice in myself during the toughest times and with people I’ve met and performed for on 3 continents – I want to use this universal language of music to make people smile and make a positive difference wherever it is played,” Tayles said.
The plan calls for the production of new original music with a diverse set of talented producers – Marcus Bell (LA - Usher, Black Eyed Peas), Darren Grahn (Vancouver - Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera) and Johnny Simmen (Toronto). Following this will be the professional release of the ‘Wow album with a full PR, media promotion and agency team – it all starts now with the launch of The Wow Project Indiegogo campaign.
Tayles shared that, “A lot of people who follow my career don’t know that I’ve worked with hundreds of people as a life coach. Following two trips to Uganda in 2005 and 2007 with the Missionaries of the Poor, I began relentlessly working on my self to free my mind and be happy every day. This led to me to help others with what I had learned and experienced and now I’m blessed to be in this position. It feels like I’m merging these two worlds of life coaching and music into this one thing called The Wow Project.”
Say you want a revolution? Maybe it isn’t about governments and changing the rules, maybe it starts with each of us? This innovation is internal and music is a catalyst. Like many great artists before him, it sounds like John Tayles is onto something.
