TheGrint is Now the Only Golf Handicap Tracker to Provide a Compliant USGA Golf Handicap at No Cost
Miami, FL (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Golfers in the US want to have a compliant USGA golf handicap. However, the cost to get one at a golf club is $20-30 per year. TheGrint Golf Handicap Tracker is allowing its members to establish USGA registered golf clubs around the country to provide the handicap at no cost to other members of TheGrint community.
The USGA (United States Golf Association) is a not in the business of selling golf handicaps. Their interest is to grow the game, and to have a fair golf handicap system. Golf handicaps are sold by golf clubs and other organizations, but the USGA doesn't charge them anything to do so. That is why TheGrint is trying to make the golf handicap accessible to everyone. And then also provide much more.
TheGrint allows their members to set up what the USGA calls type 3 golf clubs. Those type 3 golf clubs are required to have at least 10 members living within a 50 mile radius from the location of the golf club. Once clubs are established, these are available to anyone who signs up to TheGrint, at no cost.
There are already many golf clubs established by TheGrint in the US, and many more in the registration process.
