The Story:
For months, Laura Brighton has been haunted by a vivid nightmare. In the dream she sees the same girl, fourteen year old Amy Caldwell, who is brutally raped and murdered before her eyes. Laura is immensely disturbed by the nightmares and she can’t seem to stop them from recurring. Who is Amy Caldwell? Is, or was, she a real person? Did something really happen to this girl? Where did these dreams come from? These are the questions that Laura knows she must seek the answers to if she ever hopes to rid herself of these nightmares. In the search for answers Laura and her daughter find themselves in a small Connecticut town called Winchester, where she feels the horrific events from her dream may have taken place. After they arrive, Laura learns that the townspeople are harboring some old secrets.
