TheShirtPrinter.com Now Hosting Monthly Community Business Networking Events
Arlington, TX (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- Screen printing service TheShirtPrinter.com is now hosting community business networking events each month through Arlington Connect, a newly established networking organization that started hosting the monthly events six months ago.
The idea behind the shirt printing service's new networking events is to help local businesses make their brands more visible to the community, to hopefully foster symbiotic business relationships between companies. For example, a pay per print paper printing company has now partnered with TheShirtPrinter.com as a result. A company that specializes in graphics and design and provides paper printed materials for their customers now sends all their clients with clothing needs to TheShirtPrinter.com
"As an owner, I'm always concerned about people. Giving more notoriety to who we are on a human level by hosting these events and establishing strong relationships within the community is a way to tell everyone that we’re more than just a logo and t-shirt company -- we’re here to help others neighbors," said Eric Uzelac, Vice President of TheShirtPrinter.com.
The networking events are held once a month at different locations, and take the form of a social happy hour in the Arlington, Texas community.
"There is no better way to get to meet people than to sit down, have a nice beer, and nibble on some great food all while forming new connections," said Uzelac. "It is always interesting to host these events; you never know who is going to walk through the door and who you are going to meet and end up doing business with down the road."
The revenue from each event is put back into the community. Last year the group was able to help a local girl who suffers from Ectodermal Dysplacia obtain the $50,000 in cash and resources she critically needed for dental implant. So far, the events have helped people struggling to pay large medical bills, and provided others with disaster relief funding after a house fire.
"The more I do for other people, I find that I always get some sort of reward down the road. There’s a great return on investment when it comes to networking; if you put good things in, you get good things back," said Uzelac.
The next networking event is on February 19 at Hooligan's Pub. About 40 people are currently scheduled to attend.
