Third Annual National "Manager of the Year" Contest to Kick Off November 15th
Calabasas, CA (PRWEB) November 15, 2014 -- The National “Manager of the Year” Contest announced that its third annual program will kick-off with the call for applications on November 15. Managers have until midnight on January 5, 2015 to submit entries in either of the 2 contest categories: On-Site Manager and Portfolio Manager.
The Contest was founded in 2012 by Association Reserves, Inc., a company that prepares Reserve Studies for Community Associations, to recognize and reward the achievement of professional Managers in orchestrating major improvements and/or turnarounds at condos, coops, HOAs and PUDs across the country. Each year since its inception, the National “Manager of the Year” Contest has grown, with hundreds of Manager applicants, five Sponsors, three Media Partners, and one Voting Partner.
There is no fee to enter the Contest and the entire application process is done online. Applicants compete for the title of “Manager of the Year,” a prestigious trophy, and a $5,000 cash prize. Winners will be announced in a live online broadcast from Las Vegas, NV on April 29, 2015. The Top 100 Finalists, as determined by an independent ranking process, are invited to submit photo-essays about their inspiring achievements in contributing their time and talent to the properties that they manage.
The photo-essays are judged and the winning On-Site and Portfolio Managers are determined by an online vote. One-third of the votes are contributed by friends, family members, and business acquaintances. One third of the votes are contributed by the Sponsors. The final third of the votes are contributed by an independent Council of Community Association Professionals made up of judges and industry leaders:
- Margey Meyer, CMCA, PCAM, President of CADRExperts
- Donna DiMaggio Berger, Esq, Shareholder at Becker & Poliakoff
- Howard Goldklang, President, Goldklang Group CPAs, PC
- Marcy Kravit, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, 2014 National On-Site “Manager of the Year”
