Third Year for Suburban Exterminating's Library Program
Smithtown, NY (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- Suburban Exterminating entomologists continue to share their love of bugs with Long Island children. Heading into the third year of our children's library program, we're thrilled to provide a "Buggy: Show and Tell" to educate children about insects and other creatures.
At each library, everyone gets a chance to get up close and personal with our insects, hamsters and other animals. Many children come to our program already bug experts. Jacob, age 10 from Southampton, told us that a carpenter ant's scientific name was Camponotus pennsylvanicus. Arielle, age 9 from Huntington, knew that a hamster was nocturnal. The children want to know everything from "Does a tarantula sting?" to "What does a roach eat?" The free library program runs for 45 minutes to an hour for Grades 3 - 5. Come and join the buggy fun!
