Thomas Eye Group Poised to Open Newly Purchased and Expanded 35,000 Square Foot Sandy Springs Clinic
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- Thomas Eye Group, a leading metro Atlanta eye care provider that offers comprehensive services including LASIK and medical, surgical and cosmetic eye care, announced today that it will begin patient care at its new Sandy Springs clinic at 5995 Barfield Road on November 20. The new location, conveniently situated close to the Hammond Interchange at Georgia 400, will integrate the latest technologies in comfortable and high-tech environments. It also allows for the convenience of having the Surgery Center, Laser & Oculoplastics and Clinic together in one space.
“Our new clinic will provide our adult and pediatric patients in Sandy Springs and the surrounding area with exceptional care and convenience,” said Rod Roeser, CEO for Thomas Eye Group. “We anticipate shorter check-in time and better patient flow allowing for a more comfortable and efficient eye care experience.”
Eight ophthalmologists with specialties including oculoplastics, glaucoma and retina will serve adult patients along with two optometrists and five pediatric ophthalmologists. Patients that are currently scheduled at the former Saint Joseph’s Hospital location after November 20 will automatically have their appointments transferred to the new location at the corner of Barfield Road and Hammond Drive.
With eight locations in the metro, Thomas Eye Group is continuing to expand its footprint to serve the rapidly growing metro Atlanta region. The Sandy Springs project scope included the purchase of an existing building and a renovation of the exterior, the addition of a drop-off canopy and a complete build-out of the interior.
