Three Representatives from Sierra Regional Spine Institute to Attend American Association of Orthopedic Executives Conference Later This Month
Reno, NV (PRWEB) April 10, 2015 -- Three representatives from Sierra Regional Spine Institute, which specializes in orthopedic spine and treatment options for neck and back pain, are going to attend the American Association of Orthopedic Executives Conference later this month. The conference is taking place at the Hilton Chicago, which is located at 720 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL, April 25-28.
Sierra Regional Spine Institute Clinic Supervisor Carolyn Burgess, Front Office Supervisor Linda Demarzie, and Practice Administrator Penny Forbes will all attend the conference. This will be Burgess’ first attendance, Demarzie’s second attendance, and Forbes’ seventh attendance.
The conference is centered on orthopedics and allows attendees to network with thousands of other people who work in their same field of health care across the country. Further, the conference provides access in a national forum to discuss healthcare administration and compliance challenges and learn how other practices are dealing with similar issues.
The conference also gives attendees the opportunity to learn about new medical IT, administration and marketing products, that can help improve the management and efficiency on the business side of their medical practices. Additionally, people attending the conference can attend CME (certified medical education) classes and ICLs (instructional course lectures).
According to Sierra Regional Spine Institute Practice Administrator Penny Forbes, who has been a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Executives since 2004, they are excited about attending the conference and being able to network with and learn from other people in the industry.
“This is one of the best networking opportunities for orthopedics in the country and we are very excited to be able to attend yet again,” said Forbes. “It’s a super event for anyone in the industry to attend -- whether a manager in IT, Clinical services, or the practice. We all benefit from the course lectures, and the information on services and new technology that’s out there.”
