Three Wire Becomes a Yellow Ribbon Fund Community Partner
FALLS CHURCH, Va. (PRWEB) December 18, 2017 -- Three Wire Systems, LLC (Three Wire), a leader in protecting, supporting, and advocating for our uniformed personnel communities through proactive coaching and other military transition support services, and Yellow Ribbon Fund, Inc (YRF), a nonprofit that provides social, mental and economical support for injured service members and their family members, announce a partnership to strengthen the lives of wounded, ill and injured warfighters together.
Three Wire is proud to support the YRF mission by volunteering time, resources, and financial support which includes a donation of goods that will be used in the free, furnished apartments that are provided to military families as the service member is recovering. The YRF Family Caregiver Program, also offers respite care, family-oriented activities, educational and networking opportunities, fitness classes and weekend retreats to the injured service member’s caregiver — all at no charge.
YRF was founded in 2005 by a group of business leaders in the Washington, D.C. area who saw first-hand how much support military families needed when caring for an injured service member. Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., YRF has grown and adapted, bringing on several community partners including Southwest, Rock Bottom Brewery, Boeing, Fitzgerald Auto Mall, M&T Bank and now Three Wire as the immediate and long-term needs of wounded, ill, and injured veterans continue to grow.

YRF provides more than 100 services and activities every year including hotel rooms, rental cars, taxi rides, full furnished apartments, a mentoring program and the Family Caregiver Program – all at no expense to the service member and their families. These services promote immediate financial stability, allowing service members and their caregivers to focus on rehabilitation.
