Thrift Books Announces the Hiring of Prasad Gopalkrishnan as Chief Marketing Officer
Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) January 22, 2016 -- Thrift Books LLC announces the addition of Prasad Gopalkrishnan to serve as Chief Marketing Officer, effective December 14th, 2015. He will report to the president of Thrift Books, Mike Ward.
Prasad Gopalkrishnan brings over 13 years of marketing and direct general management experience in the consumer goods and ecommerce industries. Most recently Mr. Gopalkrishnan founded and led a nutrition startup past capital raise. Prior to this, he was the CMO of Kitchen and Dining Retail at Amazon.com, in addition to managing two separate lines of business, the third party marketplace and Amazon Wedding Registry. Prior to Amazon.com, Mr. Gopalkrishnan was Brand Manager at Proctor and Gamble (P&G) at their world headquarters in Cincinnati for a decade. He managed large and small brands in Home, Health and Beauty, including Secret, Old Spice, Gillette, NyQuil & DayQuil.

Mr. Gopalkrishnan relocated to the Seattle area after 15 years in the Midwest. He holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Case, Cleveland, OH.
