Through Strategic Facility Design and R&D Testing, BioScience Laboratories, Inc. Hot Room Testing Lab Adds New Testing Capabilities
Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- BioScience Laboratories, Inc. (BSLI) testing lab was constructed to effectively, efficiently and safely support a variety of testing services spanning Microbiology, Virology and Toxicology capacities in both the In-Vitro laboratory and clinical laboratory. Among the multiple labs and operational systems at their disposal, new Hot Room testing services have been added.
Dynamic environmental control is one of the many features that makes up their facility's strategic design. It enables them the ability to control the ambient environment for each study, as per testing protocol. Specifically their Hot Room, dynamic in temperature and humidity, creates new testing opportunities and allows for flexibility in the types of studies they conduct. Hot and humid conditions are necessary when subjects need to produce a sufficient amount of perspiration to generate data for clinical studies, such as antiperspirant or adhesive studies.
BSLI conducts performance and operational qualifications on a regular basis as a part of their R&D program. Recently, they conducted a Hot Room qualification study and confirmed the capability of maintaining a temperature of 100F ± 5°F and a relative humidity of 60% ± 5% for periods up to four (4) hours.
Due to the wide range in temperature and humidity control, they are not limited to antiperspirant, deodorant, and bandage adhesive studies. Their Hot Room testing capabilities also support custom designed studies.
