TI Media Day this Saturday in Tom’s River, New Jersey: Speaking of The New York Times & The Baton Rouge Shooter
(PRWEB) July 21, 2016 -- TI Media Day will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 11am to 6pm EST in Tom’s River, New Jersey. “It is an opportunity for targeted individuals (TIs) to be filmed while they provide testimonies, discuss facts and stats regarding technologies impacting them,” according to a flyer promoting the event.
Community organizer, Jaami Ali, Director of the Targeted Individual Awareness Campaign in conjunction with Jump Out the Box Productions originated the event to promote the cause of freedom and understanding for TI’s who may be misperceived after recent reports in the news.
In an article entitled “The United States of Paranoia,” The New York Times claims that some psychiatrists refer to T.I.'s saying that “a large number appear to have delusional disorder or schizophrenia” and says some specialists describe them as “thousands of sick people, banded together and demanding recognition on the basis of shared paranoias.” http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/11/health/gang-stalking-targeted-individuals.html?_r=1
“A targeted individual is someone who is stalked,harassed, and often tortured by a predatory group of people. And this article was probably the most vitriolic portrayal of targeted individuals and this community that’s been published so far” says Derrick Robinson, Executive Director of a California-based TI advocacy group called People Against Covert Torture and Surveillance, International.
The event will also include information to counteract misconceptions that may have arisen about targeted individuals from the actions of Gavin Eugene Long also known as Cosmo Ausar Setepenra, the Baton Rouge shooter who briefly affiliated with a TI support group in April of last year.

“The various communities of targeted individuals do not condone violence even though violence is happening to them nor do they agree with Mr. Long’s method of resolving an issue he may have had with the police,” says Ms. Ali.
TI Media Day will grant targeted individuals the "opportunity to offer individual and group testimony, answer questions regarding their experiences, present scientific information regarding technologies used against them and finally, to state their demands for change at a townhall conference,” explains the flyer.
