TICDA CEO Challenges Himself to a New Year’s Resolution to Beat The Record Of 116 Years For The Oldest Man That Ever Lived By Building An Online Support Community
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) January 07, 2016 -- CEO, Ziad Batal of (TICDA) “Today I Can Do Anything,” a Los Angeles based apparel company, has challenged himself to beat the record of the oldest man that ever lived, which currently stands at 116 years old. According to Guinness World Records, the title belongs to the late Jiroemon Kimura of Japan. The current record of the oldest man still alive belongs to Yasutaro Koide, also of Japan, who is currently 113 years old.
The idea to live a long healthy life didn't start now for Batal. It comes from a touching moment over 10 years ago when his then-five-year-old son Zade asked if he would still be around when he gets older. Batal looked at his son with surprise and replied “of course, not only will I be around; I am going to live to be over 100.” Zade vowed to remind his father of the promise.
Two weeks ago Zade reminded his dad of his promise and Batal realized that the only way he was going to achieve this promise was to challenge himself and set a personal long term goal. Most experts suggest setting a small goals, Batal is going for the gold by setting a New Years resolution so bizzar he called it The TICDA LIFELONG CHALLENGE.
Batal has always been an avid daily hiker, but also also a heavy cigar smoker, “smoking a cigar a day for the past 30 years I realized that's got to go and I stopped overnight". Now he’s taking his challenge to the next level. Turning 58 this year, Batal is already halfway to reaching his goal, and believes that good food and exercise have always been crucial for a healthy quality lifestyle. He has even started getting fitness advice from his partner in TICDA, Mark Wahlberg. Psychologist Dr. Shelley Hirsch M.S PsyD, “To achieve a goal like this you must set and believe in a goal to embody it and thus achieve it no matter how big it is, Ziad has the descipline to do this."
"It’s incredible what has happened since I made the challenge public" Batal says, “my entire perspective on life has changed, my mind only see's and thinks about the good things for me, I have another 58 years to go and maybe more, my energy level is in overdrive,I feel that I'm 18 again” Once Batal started telling his family and friends about the challenge he has had many eager participants join him to live long and achieve a healthy quality lifestyle , the age group has ranged from 20 year olds to his 58-year-old friend Hal Kravitz, CEO of AQUAhydrate.
