(PRWEB) January 27, 2014 -- After touring Europe all May, Katy Perry will finally begin the North American leg of her Prismatic World Tour on June 22nd in Raleigh, North Carolina. The 29-year-old international sensation will continue her tour through to October 10th, hitting 46 cities along the way in both the United States and Canada. Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara will be joining Katy Perry throughout the second leg of her tour.
The tour will feature Perry's fourth studio album, Prism, which includes top hits such as "Roar," Unconditionally," and "Dark Horse." In 2013, Katy Perry stated in various interviews that the Prismatic Tour would be "less cartoony" than her California Dreams Tour but that she was "going to bring all the bells and whistles like it was last time, but it won't be so highly narrated." She continued to say, "It's unlike anything I've ever seen for any other artist and it's unlike anything I've ever done. It's different, it's fresh, it's clean and it's actually in the middle of the audience it feels like."
