Tim Dieter Collaborates with Nonprofit Opening Doors and Introduces New Charity Campaign to Help Local Women in Need
Dubuque, IA (PRWEB) September 12, 2016 -- Tim Dieter debuts the latest charity campaign in his insurance agency’s widely recognized community involvement program in Dubuque, IA by announcing a partnership with nonprofit Opening Doors. Readers who wish to support local women in need of new beginnings make now contribute here.
Opening Doors offers a variety of enhanced opportunities for homeless women to affirm their dignity and achieve their full potential for independent living in a caring, nurturing environment benefitting the neighborhood. Since 2000, Maria House has provided transitional housing for up to two years for women with and without children. Teresa Shelter opened in 2006, offering short-term emergency shelter services and an extended stay program. The organization helps women to rebuild their lives through supportive services, goal setting and life skills training.
“We believe in Opening Doors’ vision,” said Tim Dieter, owner of Dieter & Associates. “Making our community better and stronger is the ultimate goal of our Community Program, and getting women and their children the help they need to be safe and to become independent members of our community is something which should motivate us all.”
The agency hopes that the current initiative will bring awareness to the ongoing challenges faced by local women and children who are homeless, and the continual need for funding so that Opening Doors may continue to operate as a beacon of hope. The Dieter team has set a fundraising goal of $500, with the agency itself pledging to donate $10 to the cause for every recommendation they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Dieter will promote the campaign over the course of the next 60-90 days through social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through the agency’s monthly community magazine.
