Tim Glasson Earns a Spot as a Top Five Finalists in the American Airlines Road Warrior Competition

In his essay, Glasson writes about the tricks of the trade that he has learned over the years of being a Road Warrior such as packing an entire eight-day overseas trip into a carry-on so that his luggage is never lost and using plastic bags to reduce wrinkles in his suits. Many of his mornings consist of running on a treadmill at the hotel’s gym while catching up on his latest book or newspaper.

This is what makes Tim Glasson the ultimate Road Warrior. Not only does he endure long weeks traveling across countries and time zones, when he gets home on the weekends there is no time for rest. Many of his “weekends off” include jumping on another plane, this time with the family, to travel and support his son, Cole, at his stock car races.
