Tim Noteboom Joins Evidence In Motion Faculty as Director of Blended Learning
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) August 01, 2016 -- Evidence In Motion (EIM) is proud to announce that Dr. Timothy Noteboom, PT, DPT, PhD, SCS, has been named Director of Blended Learning, effective immediately.
Dr. Noteboom comes to Evidence In Motion from Regis University, where he served as the Assistant Dean of the School of Physical Therapy in the Rueckert-Jartman College for Health Professions. As EIM’s first Director of Blended Learning, he will be largely responsible for overseeing the development of the blended learning curriculum that EIM develops for its entry-level DPT and PTA academic partner institutions. Additionally, Dr. Noteboom serves as the President of the Colorado chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association.
“Tim’s academic background is extensive, and he is a highly respected leader in entry-level DPT and post graduate physical therapy education. Tim was a leader in establishing Regis’ Post-professional DPT and Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Fellowship programs. He has an innovative mindset that’s consistent with the mission and vision of Evidence In Motion and we look forward to having him on our team.” said John Childs, PT, PhD, MBA, CEO of Evidence In Motion.
EIM is working with academic institutions to design innovative entry-level DPT programs in which the curriculum is delivered in a blended learning format using a combination of faculty-directed online coursework and onsite lab instruction. The flexible educational model allows students to live anywhere in the country and commute for quarterly onsite lab intensives. The 3-year academic curriculum is compressed into 2 calendar years, reducing the overall duration and cost of DPT education. The program blends seamlessly into a paid, post-licensure residency program in a variety of specialty practice areas to prepare graduates for advanced practice.
