Time for Celebration! Taiwan Tourism at SF/Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 07, 2015 -- It is time for America’s biggest annual SF/Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show! Taiwan Tourism Bureau in San Francisco will again be hosting an innovative and festive booth (#328) this year on February 7th and 8th at the Santa Clara Convention Center. This year, Taiwan Tourism Bureau will showcase the six themes in the "Time for Celebration 2015 - Taiwan Tourism Events Calendar" including Time for Love, Time to Marvel, Time for Two Wheels, Time to Shop, Time to Eat, and Time for Nature at the event.
At the fun filled two-day event, Taiwan Tourism Bureau in San Francisco will bring an exciting, informative and unique experience through numerous activities at the booth - an elegant traditional GuZheng performance by the San Francisco GuZheng Music Society, Taiwan bubble tea tasting as well as a bubble tea shaking competition, and the King of Bwey competition that mimics Taiwanese temple customs. Event goers get to taste the aromatic and delicious bubble milk tea, enjoy the beautiful GuZheng performances, and participate in the festive King of Bwey and bubble milk tea shaking competitions. Taiwan Tourism Bureau is also giving away a limited amount of the adorable special edition lanterns to celebrate Lunar New Year; various lantern folding sessions will be available to participants with tutorials of how to fold the intricate lanterns. Travel professionals as well as the general public will all get to immerse in the fun events and experience the joy offered by the Taiwan Tourism Event Calendars.
According to Ms. Sylvia Yu, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau in San Francisco, the annual Taiwan Lantern Festival is the most celebrated event among all traditional festivals in Taiwan. Utilizing yet another innovative lantern making technique this year, the main theme Lantern, "Lucky Ram," measures a record-breaking height of 23.4 meters. The three design principles of the Ram, “All optical, New technique, Low carbon,” are ground-breaking techniques used for light designs; for the first time ever, full color range LED technology is incorporated with the new generation LED optical diffuse plates. The diamond-like sparkling visual effects are designed and programmed by a digital controller to beautifully present graphics and text on the surface of the Ram. The trans formative and inventive design is so eye-catching, shinny and colorful that you won’t believe your eyes.
Event participants will be able to learn about Taiwan and Taiwan tour packages in depth by visiting the tourism Bureau's counter along with their travel partners at booth.
