Tina Mulqueen to Lead Grey Cloak Tech's Digital Advertising Initiatives as VP of Marketing
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) February 03, 2016 -- Grey Cloak Tech (OTCBB: GRCK) announced today that Tina Mulqueen, former Director of Corporate Communications for 21st Century Pictures Group and digital strategist for leading entertainment and technology brands, has been appointed the Vice President of Marketing to lead Grey Cloak’s digital advertising and influencer marketing initiatives.
Grey Cloak Tech, a publicly traded technology corporation, is laser-focused on detecting and tracking digital advertising fraud with its propriety Fraudlytic software. The Fraudlytic software detects hundreds of permutations of digital advertising fraud - including cookie stuffing, ad stacking, and domain spoofing - to allow advertisers to regain control of their advertising budget. It is estimated that fraud in digital advertising will cost advertisers $8.2 billion dollars this year according to Interactive Advertising Bureau.
“Now that we’ve given advertisers the tools they need to account for the massive amounts of fraud that have permeated the digital advertising ecosystem, we’re focusing on alternative forms of digital advertising that are not subjected to bot fraud or ad blocking software,” says William Bossung, founder and CFO of Grey Cloak Tech. “We see influencer marketing as a forward-thinking alternative, and Tina is uniquely equipped to manage high level influencer marketing campaigns.”
Leading the influencer marketing and digital advertising campaign charge will be Tina Mulqueen. Mulqueen has been on social media influencer teams on behalf of Vanity Fair and CBS for the world’s most exclusive events in entertainment, including the Emmy Awards, the Academy Awards, and the Billboard Music Awards, among others. She has also represented numerous clients in technology and entertainment through her own firm, Kindred Marketing Company, LLC.
“Grey Cloak is an extremely forward-thinking company,” says Mulqueen, “and I’m looking forward to playing a part in the evolution of the digital advertising alongside such a passionate team.”
Influencer marketing and other novel methods of digital advertising will be given a high priority this year at Grey Cloak Tech, reflecting advertisers’ demand of more efficient ways to engage potential customers and circumvent ad blocking software. According to a 2015 study conducted by Schlesinger Associates, 84% of marketing professionals planned to execute an influencer marketing campaign in the next year, and 81% of those who had already engaged influencers for marketing campaigns agreed that it was effective.
“We want to take advantage of how the unique benefits of influencer marketing are going to shape marketing strategies and advertising budget considerations,” says Bossung.
The digital amplification offered by influencer marketing on social media carries many benefits, including far-reaching campaigns, brand awareness, customer loyalty, and word-of-mouth validation. According to Forbes, “marketing-inspired word-of-mouth generates more than twice the sales of paid advertising, and these customers have a 37% higher retention rate.”
