TMX Finance “Thinks Pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness

Most recently, the corporate offices located in Savannah, GA and Dallas, TX hosted a “Think Pink” campaign as part of October’s breast cancer awareness. The offices “competed” to see who could raise the most money for the annual Komen Race for the Cure and together raised more than $1,700.00. All proceeds will go towards the TMX Finance team in the efforts to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure which will be held in April 2015.
“Raising money for non-profits like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is a great way for TMX Finance to get involved in the Savannah and Dallas communities,” said Lynda Long, Chairperson for the TMX Finance Team. “What an awesome cause to support while also creating a sense of comradery among the employees here at our corporate offices.”
TMX Finance employees are excited to join in the fight against breast cancer and help ensure that all women have access to mammograms and breast health services, regardless of income or insurance. The past year’s team had more than 120 participants involved and donated over $25,000.00. The team is already pumped about the 2015 race and is beginning its fundraising efforts early in hopes to meet and exceed this year’s goal of $30,000.00.
