Toby Bozzuto Named Chief Executive Officer of The Bozzuto Group
GREENBELT, MD (PRWEB) September 09, 2015 -- The Bozzuto Group today announced that Toby Bozzuto has been named Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he becomes responsible for providing strategic as well as day-to-day leadership of the company, in addition to helping guide future growth of all four of the company’s operating businesses. Current CEO Tom Bozzuto will remain in the role of Chairman of The Bozzuto Group, continuing to be an active member of the Investment Committee, overseeing Asset Management and expanding his role in securing equity for the company’s projects. In addition, Tom will continue to have a dominant influence in maintaining and growing the corporate culture of the company.
“A great deal of thoughtful and transparent planning has gone into this transition over a very extended period of time,” stated Tom Bozzuto. “The Bozzuto Group is stronger now than at any point in our 27-year history and Toby brings to its leadership an energy and enthusiasm for innovation combined with a respect for our heritage. Under Toby’s leadership, we will continue to build upon our strong business relationships while always striving to create extraordinary experiences for all our customers.”

Toby was named one of the “Ten Faces to Watch in 2015” by the Baltimore Business Journal and one of Maryland’s Most Influential Leaders by the Daily Record and “Developer of the Year” by the Maryland Building Industry Association. He previously worked with J.P. Morgan Chase’s Real Estate Debt Group, and was also a financial analyst with Columbia National Real Estate Finance. In 2010, Maryland Gov. “My father and I share the same goals for this company,” stated Toby Bozzuto. “We have created a corporate culture based on our core values of concern for the communities and people we touch, creativity and passion in our approach to the business, and the pursuit of perfection in all we do. The Bozzuto Group will remain a privately owned company guided by integrity and committed to providing great opportunities for our team of exceptional talent and we will continue that way.”
“We have a strong team of senior leaders who, along with me, will continue to guide our success,” Toby adds. “Together, we are creating new opportunities for growth and building a corporate culture for generations to follow.”
