Tom Meehan Pinellas County Helps Organize Rallies on Responsible Spending
Clearwater, Florida (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Tom Meehan, a distinguished business Clearwater, Florida entrepreneur, celebrating twenty-five successful years in local business in December 2013, challenged fellow business owners to treat the remainder of 2013 as the year of challenging all preconceived notions regarding waste in government spending. Meehan did not physically challenge anyone to a feat of strength, wishing to avoid a run-in with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department, but did offer both his time and funds to organize a rally to properly disseminate information regarding all wasteful spending practices in city; county; state and federal government spending.
Tom Meehan, a Clearwater, Florida entrepreneur, has committed himself to building a series of well-established Pinellas County business holdings for nearly twenty-five years. During that time Tom Meehan has built a name for himself as a savvy business owner, and job creator who is willing to offer unique opportunities to people with an arrest record. His business acumen has allowed Meehan to find the best in people, and offer them a job and their own mentor, to set them on the path for success. The expansion of his business footprint in and around the region left Meehan satisfied with the open doors he was giving people, but dissatisfied when he would look around and see stories of financial mismanagement in the region and farther from his Pinellas County home base.
Tom Meehan wanted to do something to bring the concepts of private business to the minds of Floridians as a possible escape from increasingly terrifying government ideas. Meehan found his avenue for change in donating both time and funds to organize a rally in Tampa, Florida, the goal of the rally being to bring awareness of ridiculous government spending to the people.
Tom Meehan explains, “Waste in government spending is something that people MUST know about today. It is our job as private business owners to share these ideas with our employees, friends and neighbors.”
The rally in Tampa, Florida centered on the concept of improving local, county, state and national government spending practices through the introduction common private business practices. Tom Meehan challenged his fellow business owners from around Pinellas County to host similar rallies of their own, and offered to help plan the events for any business owner willing to take him up on the challenge.
