Tommy Middaugh of Travel To Go Spotlights Veteran’s Charities
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 20, 2015 -- Recently, Tommy Middaugh, Vice President of Travel To Go, was awarded the Philanthropist of the Year award from Perspective Magazine. This award was given to Middaugh at the Perspective GNEX Global Meeting of the Minds Conference and was awarded to him because of the work that he has done over the past year, for many amazing organizations in his local community. These organizations, which Middaugh has been working with for years, are vast and benefit a number of individuals. Middaugh is also involved in a number of events that benefit some of these organizations each year. In response to being awarded this honor, he would like to use the opportunity to highlight some of the charities that he works with in order to get the word out about these groups and the work that they do. Middaugh especially wants to highlight a number of veterans’ charities that he supports.
Each year one of the events that Tommy Middaugh supports is the Indian Hills Music Festival. This event not only bring patrons a spectacular night of music, it also supports the Marine Riders Toys For Tots Program. The event will be held this May and Middaugh hopes that many individuals will attend to enjoy a night of fun and support a great organization as well. Another event that Middaugh is a part of each year is the Kern River Rock N Blues Fest. This event is held each year to raise money for the Bakersfield National Cemetery Memorial Walkway in Kernville, California. Tommy Middaugh shares that the event this year is still a ways off, but regardless, he encourages individuals to attend the event in September.
