Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 21, 2016 -- Tony Montanaro, Manager at Louis Plung & Company, recently received AICPA’s Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) credential.
The ABV credential is the only valuation credential accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It is awarded only to qualified CPAs who demonstrate considerable expertise in valuations through knowledge, experience, and skill. To earn the ABV, typically a CPA must have at least 75 hours of related continuing education credits, pass a six-hour exam, and complete at least 150 hours of valuation engagements.
Tony works almost exclusively with Forensic Valuation Litigation LLC (FVL), Louis Plung & Company's joint venture that provides forensic accounting, valuation, and litigation support services.
His experience includes valuation of stocks and business assets, estates and trusts, and closely-held companies. He has prepared expert witness reports using advanced forecasting techniques related to lost profits litigation. Additional experience includes investigating fraud allegations at family limited partnerships and other types of companies.
