New York (PRWEB) November 22, 2016 -- eDataSource, the leading global provider of competitive email marketing and inbox intelligence, today announced that Tony Patti has joined as vice president of deliverability and privacy compliance.
In this role, Tony will oversee all deliverability and privacy-related activities for eDatasource, including the development of essential services, features and competitive advantages for the company’s Inbox Tracker solution. His responsibilities include scaling a team of email deliverability specialists and analysts to ensure a high level of expertise for a growing customer base while helping them resolve deliverability issues and boost email marketing results. Tony will also guide the company’s participation in industry organizations to work against online threats such as spam, as well as educate and advocate on behalf of eDataSource clients. Additionally, he will provide deliverability training, audit and recommendation services, and assist with product development and direction.
“We continue to see an ever-changing deliverability landscape, combined with more complex email authentication and other technical factors affecting inbox success. As a result, this role requires a specific and progressive understanding of email deliverability and privacy compliance and a strong focus on how to responsibly market to consumers and create value for all involved,” said G.B. Heidarsson, CEO of eDataSource. “Tony has deep and highly relevant experience that will enable eDataSource to best advise our clients on how to navigate this complex ecosystem.”
Prior to eDataSource, Tony served as senior director of deliverability and data privacy compliance for MeetMe, leading the company’s email deliverability technical infrastructure enhancements and international email and privacy compliance initiatives. With extensive international and cross-platform experience, he rebuilt an in-house email generation and delivery platform that created more than 250 million messages monthly for the global social network. Tony also had direct involvement in developing targeted messaging programs for both B2C and B2B clients, previously serving as global email deliverability operations manager for Premier Global Services, Inc., as well as holding email technology positions with True.com and Travelocity.
“During my career I’ve been closely involved in the introduction of technologies and best practices as they relate to deliverability and privacy compliance. I have experienced firsthand the challenges of looking at a brand’s email marketing strategy from a deliverability perspective while delivering results that maximize their return on investment and adhering to current industry best practices,” added Tony. “I’m excited to join a company that is truly on the forefront of helping its clients boost their critical inbox delivery rates, which ultimately improves all of their email performance metrics.
