Top 1% of Programmers to Showcase Future of Tech at Global Demo Day
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 15, 2014 -- On October 30th, at the University of San Francisco’s Presentation Theatre, the future will unfold as the world’s top coders present their ideas to Silicon Valley’s prestigious investors. At AngelHack’s Third Annual Global Demo Day, 30 up-and-coming startups will make their case for seed funding - and show you the future of the tech industry.
Global Demo Day is the end of a season-long journey for these elite teams, that were born from one of AngelHack’s signature hackathons that took place in 30 location last Spring. Each winning team was inducted into the HACKcelerator, a 12-week pre-accelerator program, where seasoned Silicon Valley mentors helped them flesh their ideas out into a functioning startup.
Now, each team will pitch its startup to a panel of judges and over 100 tech investors, hoping to secure funding. Judges this year include Kathrina Manalac, Partner at Y-Combinator; Ben Parr, Co-founder & Managing Partner at DominateFund; and Allan Young, Founder of TopLine Incubator and Runway.

Those lucky teams who get funded will start a new chapter in their journeys. Some could join the ranks of SlickLogin and Appetas, two previous Global Demo Day presenters who were acquired by Google earlier this year. Others will join prior teams that’ve been accepted into programs like Y-Combinator, TechStars and 500 Startups.
